We are looking for an experienced advisor, specializing in risk insurance with some superannuation advice required on occasion, to join our team of professionals. The majority of the work comes from our award-winning mortgage brokers which feed most of the business.
The right person for this role will help us build a new book from scratch.

Our business brings together educational courses, mortgage broking, financial planning, legal services and buyer’s agents as a one stop shop for our clients, who also contribute to the referral leads. The business has been successfully operating since 2003 and continues to expand each year. We are conveniently located in Sydney CBD (near Wynyard station) in a modern office space.
The Role
The successful candidate will build & maintain a new book of active clients acting as a trusted adviser for a range of financial needs, primarily insurance advice.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Building trusted advisor relationships with a book of clients
- Building effective working relationships with support functions
- Acting on new leads and referrals from existing clients and within the business
- Contacting clients within an agreed time frame for their annual reviews
- Implementation and follow-up tasks from the client meetings or queries
- Ensuring all work and client communication is of a high quality
- Ensuring technical and client knowledge is up to date and relevant
Key Requirements
- The minimum educational requirement is a Diploma Financial Planning (RG146)
- Must have passed the FASEA exam
- Have exposure to working with Insurance products from multiple providers
- Proven financial planning experience, min of 2-3 yrs experience including completion of professional year
- Strong relationship building skills
- A track record of solid sales experience and results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and strong ability to work to deadlines.
