We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our Finance Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for preparing accurate and timely management reports, for both operational and commercial areas of the business and will contribute to continuous improvement in the finance function by enhancing the information and insights used by stakeholders for decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, manage, and evaluate processes/tools for tracking performance against financial and non-financial targets;
• Prepare the Group's annual budget, manage reporting, stakeholder communication;
• Develop and provide regular reporting and presentations to monitor performance against objectives and the Group's strategic imperatives;
• Drive improvements in business Planning and Analysis, incorporating best practices into the Group's reporting practices; and
• Support strategic realisation of the business through collation and Analysis of data, scenario modelling and reporting on the prioritisation, sequencing and change impact of strategic projects.

About you

Your skills and experience will include;

• Certified Practising Accountant (CA); and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent;
• Working knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI with knowledge and application in the use of Microsoft products / programs;
• Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of reporting and Analysis frameworks and the ability to interpret and implement requirements for senior leaders and critical stakeholders;
• Ability to successfully manage broad and competing responsibilities and complex issues at a management and Board level; and
• Advanced strategic commercial and problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, innovatively, and laterally to identify issues and develop recommendations to solve problems.
