The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Systems Consultant to join our Canberra team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will work closely with our clients to provide a range of services, including requirements analysis, configuration, training, issues resolution, testing support, and system enhancement projects.
We are looking for a team player with a strong understanding of accounting, business analysis, process improvement, and financial reporting concepts. The successful candidate will have excellent core consulting skills, including problem-solving, attention to detail, and developed written and verbal communication skills. TechnologyOne product experience is desirable but not required.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform a range of consulting services for our clients, including requirements analysis, configuration, training, issues resolution, and testing support.
- Deliver system enhancement projects and implementations through to completion.
- Identify training and change management requirements and provide TechnologyOne system training.
- Collaborate with clients to identify issues, provide recommendations, and deliver business process solutions.
- Maintain a solution-oriented attitude to exceed client expectations.
The successful candidate:
- Is a team player, committed to helping both our clients and other team members achieve their goals.
- Has a passion for learning and continuous improvement and can share their knowledge with others.
- Has experience in consulting or product support in Enterprise Resource Planning systems (TechnologyOne experience preferred).
- Has an excellent understanding of accounting, business analysis, process improvement, and financial reporting concepts.
- Is a motivated and organised individual, with strong core consulting skills, including problem-solving, attention to detail, and developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Has a baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
Desirable criteria:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Completed or nearing completion of a CA, CPA, or CFA qualification.
- Experience in training design and delivery.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
