The Financial Management Branch is responsible for managing all relationships with external Departments, Agencies and organisations and provides strategic financial services across the department.
Our ideal applicants will have proven experience in Financial Management Information Systems Administration, with strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsive in high pressure and changing environments and have the ability to work independently and apply strategic thinking for decision making. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be innovative, have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to implement changes.
Duties
- Administering the Financial Management Information Systems, including system configuration changes, user access maintenance, and system testing.
- Responding to Financial Management Information Systems Help Desk inquiries
- Coding and running adhoc SQL queries to generate data extracts for QoNs, data analysis, and audit inquiries.
- Liaising with Services Australia programmers on technical matters.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of new Financial Management Information System.
