Do you have a passion for Customer Service and wanting to kick start your career as a banking customer advisor? This is your chance! Gain invaluable hands-on experience whilst completing a 12 Month Traineeship and Certificate III in Business.
Working within a local banking branch in Roma, this is a real career start within a supportive environment. The successful trainee will have the opportunity to learn all about Customer Service within the banking sector whilst developing their Customer Service skills on the job. You may be required to attend the Injune Branch.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in commencing a career within financial services sector.
What will you be doing?
As a business trainee you will learn and develop the skills to become a successful customer advisor. You will become the first point of contact for customers when they visit the retail branch.
Your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers with their enquires whilst providing a positive branch experience.
- Engage in needs-based conversations with customers.
- General banking and telling duties: money handling, facilitating transactions and ATM Maintenance.
- Coaching customers on self-service and digital banking.
- Assisting customers with opening and closing accounts, fraud and banking transactions.
What are we looking for?
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Drivers Licence and Own Car - You will be required to travel between the Roma and Injune branches.
- A well-presented team-player with excellent work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and sound computer knowledge
- A reliable and punctual individual who demonstrates initiative
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling and/or Customer Service
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check
