Form of workProgrammed have partnered with our client – a manufacturer of specialised equipment with fantastic opportunities on a Full Time Permanent basis. We are currently seeking trade qualified Fitter and Turner’s based in Molendinar.
These roles will have you working Monday – Thursday 6:30am to 3pm with an early finish of 12:30pm every Friday to maintain a healthy work life balance. There is also occasional overtime on offer for those interested.
Some of the duties may include but are not limited to;
- Read engineering drawings
- Use of manual Lathes, Milling machines, Drilling Machines and Horizontal Borers
- Use of Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures
- Working with Steel/Aluminium/Stainless Fibreglass and Tufnol
- Working with Composite Materials
- Demonstrate an acute attention to detail
- Ability to build from drawings without supervision (Boilermakers)
- Carry out repairs including major inspections of EWP’s and cable handling equipment
- Rebuilding cylinder and valve blocks
- Manufacture hydraulic hoses and hard-line pipes
Successful applicants will require the following;
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Must have own tools of the trade, all specialised tools are provided for use
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
Advantageous Qualifications;
- Certificate III in relevant mechanical trade / hydraulic skilled
- Any experience in programming Heidenhan/Okuma
- Forklift Licence
- EWP licence
- HR licence
