Form of workWe are excited to invite applications for our new position of Fleet Allocator, located in Rand, NSW.
The Fleet Allocator will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the transportation of grain and bulk materials to ensure timely delivery. We are looking for someone who is super organised, great time management skills, has excellent communications skills and is looking to work in a dynamic environment.
You will
• Coordinate and schedule the transportation of grain and bulk materials to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Adhere to safe work practices, including wearing PPE (where required), following company procedures and complying with safe operation of equipment.
• Come to work in a safe manner, unaffected by drugs and/or alcohol.
About you
• 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
• Act in a respectful and professional manner
• Strong organisational and time management skills
