We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Allocator to join our small rail and imports team based out of Enfield, NSW.
With a fleet of semi’s and b-doubles, your main responsibility will be the daily scheduling of drivers and truck fleet to meet customer demands and inventory management.
You will have the ability to tackle head on challenges of short notice changes and provide solutions to get the job done!
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage regular safety and compliance relevant to the role, including but not limited to, worker observations, standard operating procedure checks, and fleet checks
- Effectively manage and pre-plan daily scheduling of drivers and road fleet
- Effective ongoing daily communication with a team of highly skilled and experienced drivers in order to promote and maintain best safety and operational practices
- Maintaining high standard of delivery performance to meet customer expectations and KPI’s
- Inventory Management
Your Skills and Knowledge
- Exposure to Rail and Import operations preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills
- High level verbal and written communications
- A problem solver with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work and collaborate in a small team and fast paced environment
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- High level customer service with the ability to build and maintain strong business and professional relationships
- Well-developed computer skills – Office 365
