Osborne Richardson are delighted to be partnering with this QLD State Government agency, based in Southern Brisbane. On this occasion, we have two sensational opportunities to present; a Fleet Coordinator and a Fleet Officer. With contracts available until end of June 2025, we can see these roles extending onwards past this date.
Fleet Coordinator Responsibilites:
- Manage a fleet of over 150 vehicles, including replacement vehicles, registration, servicing, repairs, and insurance claims.
- Maintain records for 250+ fuel cards, home garaging, and LogBookMe.
- Update, monitor, and produce reports for computer replacements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Register and maintain records for 400+ assets and 900+ sundry items, conducting regular stocktakes.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to Program staff on fleet, financial, procurement, and administrative matters.
- Provide financial and project management support services and advice to Biosecurity Queensland staff, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and guidelines.
- Perform team leader responsibilities as required, including supervising staff, allocating workloads, and conducting performance reviews.
Fleet Officer Responsibilities:
- Assist the Fleet Coordinator in managing a fleet of more than 150 vehicles, including replacement vehicles, registration, servicing, repairs, and insurance claims.
- Assist the Fleet Coordinator in managing and maintaining all records relating to 250 plus fuel cards, CAS, home garaging and LogBookMe.
- Accurately perform tasks in accordance with relevant standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to support the generation of valid data and compliance with relevant quality standards.
- Process routine requests from stakeholders or members of the public as per business procedures. Progress non-routine requests to management for consideration and then implement management decisions.
- May undertake basic financial processing. This may include taking payments over the phone, processing customer bank details or verifying invoice details before and after invoices are generated, scrutinising invoice reports, correct data errors and enter information into departmental financial system.
- Export reports and data from relevant systems. Collate and order the exported data to be escalated to management for decision-making and/or reporting purposes.
- May participate in system and software pilots. This may include undertaking user acceptance testing, troubleshooting and providing feedback.
- Uphold business efficiency and positive profile of the program and DAF through effective communication with members of the public, clients, staff, suppliers and stakeholders and the provision of accurate and relevant information.
Mandatory requirements to these roles are:
- Current Class C drivers’ licence
