Our client is a leading Not-For-Profit business based in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane with onsite parking and work from home flexibility.
They have an opportunity available for an experienced Fleet/Procurement Officer or someone with complex administration experience looking for a change of career.
The Opportunity
Duties will include;
- Coordinate an efficient customer focused service and maintain efficient systems to the enable successful execution of vehicle purchases/modifications, new vehicle leases, extension of leases and the currency of vehicle registrations.
- Coordinate and ensure that all insurances, fuel cards, e-Tags, vehicle repairs, servicing, COIs, tolls, and traffic infringements for all new and existing vehicles are monitored and kept up to date within applicable timeframes.
- Ensure the integrity of data in the Fleet data base is accurate and current, using initiative to undertake regular system checks to maintain data quality. This includes but is not limited to transfers, disposals and acquisitions of vehicles.
- Ensure that all monthly charge outs to services/facilities are carried in an accurate & timely manner.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake monthly reviews on existing leases to determine if they have met the required lease terms and recommend alternate options for optimising leasing arrangements across the organisation. Action recommendations as approved.
- Prior experience managing a fleet of vehicles will be highly regarded although not essential, experience in a complex administration environment will also be considered.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
- Intermediate computer skills, including database management and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Strong organisational abilities, including demonstrated initiative, effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy office environment.
