Due to developing works with one of our premier clients, GRPS is currently looking for an experienced Permit to Work Coordinator to join our growing WA team and to be based on our clients Perth CBD office working on a new contract.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing permits, completing, and modifying JHAs.
- Completing of perimetry, work packs/ paperwork.
- Responsible for the Permit to Work process across the project
- Coordinate the permit meetings.
- Ensure appropriate sign off and authorisation is complete for work activities
- Regular audits and inspections of worksites
- Provide analytics and data to the Project Manager / Team on Permit activities, breaches, and quantities.
- Provide assurance that isolations are developed, implemented and comprehensive for any work that requires them.
- Communicate all permitted activities across the workforce.
- Communicate and coordinate any simultaneous or conflicting activities that are identified.
- Manage and maintain permit documentation.
- Provide training to new staff on the permit system.
- Deliver and maintain the online training course for various levels of Permit control – Work group, Permit Holder, Area Authority, Isolating Authority, Isolation Checker through to Issuing Authority.
Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory:
- Experienced (5yrs min) Oil and Gas sector.
- Previous experience as a PTW Coordinator
- Certificate III/ IV in Process Plant Technology.
- Team player mentality.
- Flexible approach.
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent HSE standards.
