Food and Cleaning Services Assistants

We are currently seeking Food and Cleaning Services Assistants to join our team at Peace Haven Home in Norwood. There are multiple casual opportunities available.

About the roles:
Under the guidance of the Chef/Cook, the Food Services Assistant plays a crucial role in contributing to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Food Safety Program (FSP). Their responsibilities include providing a variety of quality Food and beverages tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents. The Cleaning Services Assistant, in a separate capacity, is tasked with delivering Cleaning Services that foster a safe, clean, and home-like living environment for both residents and staff.

The successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in residential aged care or a similar environment.
• Food Handling Course.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
• Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
• Training or experience in cleaning.
• Experience in residential aged care food services.
• Experience in hospitality or catering.
