As our industry leading business continues to expand, so do opportunities within our production facility in Banyo. We currently have a position available for an experienced Food Production Supervisorto join our morning Production Team. The ideal applicant will have minimum 5 years supervisory experience working within a food manufacturing environment and will have a proven background in leading their team to deliver exceptional quality and results each day. You are a passionate leader who enjoys the challenges of working in a fast-paced factory environment and who is capable of making changes towards continuous improvement, whilst adapting to a growing and evolving organisation.
About you:
- experience coordinating and liaising with various departments to meet desired production outcomes
- the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- able to work between 5:00 to 13:06, Monday to Friday
- foster a positive work environment that motivates staff and promotes collaboration
- work in cool temperature control environments
- the ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines
The role:
- daily management of your area and team members including:-
- leading by example in following all company procedures, using safe work practices and setting high safety standards (HACCP controls and GMP)
- performance management of employees
- mentor and support team members
- managing tight deadlines and fluctuating demands
- organising daily and weekly rostering for your team
- conduct scheduled toolbox meetings
- liaising with the Learning & Development team to ensure staff training is up to date
