The Role:
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Forest Resources Manager to join our team to provide leadership for our Technical Team, a diverse and talented group of individuals operating across the business servicing both external clients and our operational teams in strategic planning, forest modelling, GIS, valuations and forest data analysis.
The right candidate will be self-motivated and be comfortable working within a fast-paced and innovative team. Being able to form and maintain positive relationships with staff, service providers and clients is critical to your success in the role.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in the following key areas:
- Strategic planning and forest modelling including experience with Tigermoth
- Spatial data and stand record systems
- Forest information systems management
- Inventory management and forest valuations
Experience of industry standards, forest management certification, carbon forestry projects and/or compliance systems would be advantageous.
