We are seeking a Formwork Temporary Design engineer to join our team for an immediate start across our Sydney metro based projects.

About the Role:
Join the Wideform Engineering Temporary design team to deliver projects from concept through to completion:
- Conduct structural engineering design for a range of projects and various temporary works solutions including but not limited to formwork and falsework, access systems, back-propping, needling structures, scaffold design.
- Prepare design calculations of structural systems.
- Prepare technical reports, compliance reports and drawings/sketches.
- Utilise advanced structural engineering software tools for design and modelling.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Manage client relationships.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge through continuing education, remaining current with relevant professional publications and Australian Standards, establishing professional networks and participating in professional societies.
- Design Modular systems such as Peri, Doka, Acrow, RMD and scaffold shoring.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 3 to 10 years’ experience in temporary works and works structural engineering design.
- Minimum of 3 years structural design experience with strong first-principle statics design skills
- Detail knowledge of structural engineering Australian Standards
- NER and NPER register
- Proficient in modelling of structural components using design programs.
- Proficient use of common business technologies e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Drive
