We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Foster Care Case Worker to join our Team
The role will be based in our Kent Town office and will report to the Team Leader - Foster Care Services
The duties of this role include:
- Managing a caseload of carer households.
- Providing casework through assessment, training, support, placement and advocacy.
- Assisting with planning and facilitating of special events and support groups for carers and families.
- Participating in the after hours on-call rostered support of Foster Carers.
- Assisting the placement co-ordinators with the process of matching and placement of children with approved Foster Carers as required.
You may be required to work remotely with limited supervision, undertake travel for regular home visits with Foster Carers, travel to other locations for intra and interagency meetings and have the ability to work outside normal office hours.
