About the Role 

The Franchise Recruitment Manager is a critical leadership position strategically aligned to the Aramex core competencies to recruit, train, develop, drive improved performance, engagement, and increased earnings of Courier Franchisees to strengthen the value adding services that differentiate Aramex from its competitors while meeting its FCA obligations and legal requirements as a Regional Franchisee.

Key responsibilities:

Training & Development 

  1. Ensure all new Courier Franchisees are adequately trained and familiar with site and company WHS requirements including Safe Operating Procedures and work instructions.
  2. Use ongoing “best practice” training methods to evolve skill development to keep training relevant and purposeful to minimise errors to continually enhance business performance.

Operational Excellence 

  1. Implement and reinforce “best practice” systems and procedures to continually improve business unit performance resulting in higher productivity through efficiency, and reduced errors through feedback, monitoring and reporting.
  2. Work closely with RFM team to avoid CF terminations when beneficial to the business.

Communication & Reporting:

  1. Provide weekly reports and feedback to GM and Senior Management regarding CF applications, leads and conversions.
  2. Communicate with managers, CF’s and staff to ensure that all team members are fully aware of changes and current events.

Projects and Cross Functions:

  1. Be an active participant and contributor when senior management brainstorm challenges and opportunities.
  2. Show initiative in the roll out and execution of various projects and requirements.

Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE)

  1. Ensure all WHS policies and procedures are adhered to always.
  2. Actively promote and ensure a safe environment is maintained always.

 Critical Success Factors 

  • Achieve recruitment targets of new Courier Franchisees per month.
  • Source and recruit suitable Courier Franchisees and ensure they are adequately trained and developed to provide them with the required opportunities to be a successful and profitable business.
  • Use all available means, endeavors, and support networks to attract suitable Courier Franchisee applicants in line with targets.
  • Develop marketing campaigns for recruitment of franchisees.
  • Ensure that proper procedures and processes are consistently applied to all franchise sales and territory amendments.
  • Ensure all communications, documentation and training material are accurate, current, and compliant with Aramex policies and procedures, the Franchise Council of Australia and Aramex corporate governance requirements.
  • Ensure the recruitment and training of Courier Franchisees are aligned with the legal obligations of Aramex to protect the business interests.
  • Work with Aramex legal to address and respond to all Fair-Trading matters to achieve resolution and improve internal processes.

  • Excellent communicator, able to relate to a wide range of stakeholders – franchisees, sub-contractors management and staff
  • Knowledgeable with credibility
  • Identify and communicate areas for improvement
