About the role
When freelancing with us Wellcom, your duties will include the entire art process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, images and brand guidelines, helping to shape the visual aspects of print and digital into content creation deliverables. You are a Graphic Design “all rounder”.
Your art graphics should align with brand guides and communicate the correct messaging. For this, you will need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for delivering great work, primarily print-based, however, some level of digital expertise is encouraged.
The opportunity:
- Design and produce marketing communications digital pieces for a wide variety of clients from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with our internal teams to develop creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels.
- Master brand guidelines from basic collateral to strategic campaigns.
- Having strong attention to detail to check colour, copy, text formatting, and images for print production.
- Support in the management of digital content creation.
- Ensure quality control for print and digital publications.
Experience, skills, and expertise
We are looking for someone who:
- 5+ years of experience of design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm.
- Strong creative, organisational, problem solving and time-management skills.
- Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity for all clients.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and print advertising including current trends, user experience best practices, responsive web design, display and social media.
- A comprehensive portfolio of work digital and print.
- Possesses strong conceptual skills, a high-level sense of design, layout and typography, and a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are crucial in this constantly changing and fast-paced agency environment with daily production deadlines.
