We're looking for driven, artistic, and friendly Senior Designers with an intimate understanding of the psychology of visual communication. We need someone who can merge their creative right-brain skills with their technical left-brain skills to create stunning designs that generate sales and new leads for our clients.
As our client base grows globally, we require an expanded team of freelancers and contractors to ensure 24/7/365 operations and media campaign optimisation. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills across traditional and digital media, with a focus of 80% on UX/UI and Landing Page Optimisation (LPO). Please note that we are looking to fill multiple freelance roles.
Here's what we're looking for:- 3+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, and/or art direction as a Creative Designer or Assistant Creative Director, executing campaigns across various industries and brands.
- Extraordinary conceptual skills and the ability to flawlessly execute ideas, paying attention to layout, design, and typography.
- A creative mind that generates fresh, new ideas.
- Proven ability to solve problems visually in close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert knowledge of production, graphic design, typography, and creative visual processes in both print and digital media.
- Experience in project management within a creative environment would be ideal.
- Excellent attention to detail and mastery of on-time delivery.
- An attentive predisposition to small (yet important) details during the final deployment of campaigns.
- A diverse and robust portfolio showcasing work from different industries and brands.
- Intimate understanding of the psychology of design, consumer decision-making processes, and the impact of images or colour on brand engagement.
- A proven track record of campaigns that have produced market-beating results (examples will be requested).
- Ability to translate business revenue goals into clear, engaging, and results-focused creative solutions that stand out from the competition.
- Clear communication skills that effectively articulate design, UX/UI, development strategy, and feedback within the creative team, as well as the ability to liaise with technical resources and client stakeholders.
- Presentation skills and confidence to engage with C-level executives and directors in meetings.
- Energetic, optimistic, and positive spirit and actions.
- Experience working as a freelancer is essential; this is not an employee-based role and will not transition into one.
- Ability to create, direct, and review quotes to ensure profitability, realistic timelines, and high ROI for our clients.
- Management, forecasting, and delivery of monthly budgets within budgetary constraints.
- Sound knowledge of campaign tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Responsible for producing best-in-class creative work that showcases integrated design skills across print, digital, marketing, branding, and product design.
- Deep understanding of sales funnels and technology, including mainstream CRMs, CMS systems, Marketing Automation, Google Analytics, and Social Media Platforms.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Animation with After Effects), HTML/CSS, Figma or Sketch, and WordPress.
- Mastery of UX/UI, CX, and end-to-end website landing page deployment with A/B split testing for Landing Page Optimisation (LPO).
- Knowledge of Unbounce.com would be a definite asset.
- Additional skills required include Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
