The role
The Senior UX Designer leads the creation of Digital experiences that will delight our customers!
As a member of the Design Leadership team you'll help drive the end-to-end experience, discover unmet user needs and goals, and helping to deliver on our product design strategy.
What you will be doing
- Coach and mentor product designers with design best practices.
- Demonstrate, teach, and cultivate a user-centred design culture at TAB!
- Deliver a consistent and cohesive customer experience across our digital channels and design system.
- Create and execute on a Design Systems roadmap and adoption strategy with the help of all designers and engineering pods.
- Use user-centred design techniques to inform our product strategy and ensure the desirability of prioritised features.
- Translate insights into user needs, user journeys, screen flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI optimised for mobile and web.
- Work with product to define goals, requirements, and priorities.
- Design for the future, understand UX, UI, branding, current and future trends, and disrupt and innovate where it brings the biggest value.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when coaching and mentoring designers.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to align user needs and business outcomes.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to drive product roadmaps and design decisions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- You're a Figma pro - you can create design concepts, task flows, wireframes, and prototypes and final UI to the very best standards.

- Tertiary qualifications in design, psychology, UX, or relevant industry experience.
- Working knowledge of experience design tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Experience working on performant websites and continuous delivery practices.
- Deep knowledge of design patterns and best practices in user experience design.
- 6+ years of experience as a UX professional, with at least 1+ year in a senior role.
