Front of House

As a family business, The Charles focuses on providing a superior customer experience across the Venue. 

The Role: We are currently seeking Front of House  to join our  team. The successful applicants will support the Venue Manager in all FOH and bar operations,  assisting a quality Boutique brand across both accommodation, Food and Beverage.

The role will focus on FOH, Bar and Hotel operations, including:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times.
• Maintaining overall quality control and presentation of the venue.
• Maintain a superior standard of presentation at all times.
• Preparing, mixing and serving a range of high-level beverages.
• Have a strong understanding of food provenance.
• Overseeing cleanliness, presentation and brand integrity with a strong focus on multi-tasking.
• Creating rapport with regular customers, remembering names and details.
• General bar operations including waiting on tables. Receiving tips on top of your remuneration.
• General operations including order fulfilment and sales.

Essential Criteria:

• Professional hospitality experience and a superior knowledge of food and beverage. We can teach you.`
• Highly dependable and able to work autonomously and in teams.
• Excellent communication skills. Enjoy dealing with people and have an enthusiasm for sharing what we are doing to create a unique experience.
• Strong customer focus.
• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of bar and venue operations.
• Quality control skills and operational excellence.
• A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• A hospitality all-rounder who is prepared to learn The Charles Way. 
• Contribute ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and the brand.
• Consistently follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Willingness to learn
