Opening in June 2024, AURA by Aqualand, located on Walker Street near the new Victoria Cross Metro Station is an iconic new address and symbol of North Sydney’s sophisticated future, setting a new precedent for luxury harbourside living.
Destined to be Sydney’s newest inner-city neighbourhood, Etymon Projects are excited to be an important part of ensuring North Sydney becomes a great food destination. Etymon is developing a multi-level lifestyle hospitality offering for residents and the local community alike. An artful mix of carefully curated venues including eateries and retail which are collectively designed to be a beacon for visitors and a playground for residents.
Within the precinct, we will operate 4 distinct hopitality businesses and are currently recruiting Front of House roles to support the delivery of this incredible project.
The venues within AURA by Aqualand include:
- Soluna Bar & Dining, a 300-seat, LA-inspired all-day diner.
- GENZO, a modern-Japanese restaurant with a focus on kushiyaki (skewers), raw dishesand a compelling sake offering.
- Sol Bread & Wine, a combined bakery, cafe and wine bar, which will transform from casual dining throughout the day to a sophisticated wine bar by night.
- UNA - Purveyor of Fine Foods - a providore selling artisan food and beverage products along with a carefully curated liquor offering.
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting the following roles:
- ExperiencedWait Staff (casual & full-time available)
- Retail Attendants (casual)
- Food Runners (casual)
- Team Leads (i.e. aspiring future managers - casual & full-time available)
About You
- At least 6 months as a Food Runner, or 1-years experience as a Waiter, confident with managing a section
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering world-class guest experiences
- Ability to work as part of a large, multi-faceted team of hospitality professionals
- Confident with food and beverage and an interest in continuous improvement
- A commitment to personal and professional development
