Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Front Office Manager will drive the performance of all Front Office operations. Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all Front Office operations including the check in and check out process.
- Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
- Actively maintain the room rate strategy for the property, constantly keeping up to date with rates in the market
- Oversee debtor management and reconciliation
- Observing Liquor and other laws and regulations that may be applicable.
- Train and mentor the Front Office team, leading from the front in all aspects of operational management
- Be the driver of policies and procedures
- Meticulously plan and be 100% prepared for all Group and VIP activity
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Be guest obsessed and passionate about team development, guest loyalty and have an eye for the little things. Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction benchmarks.
- Be the driver of our Security arrangements, garden and property maintenance.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office Operations with a high level of guest service always provided.

On top of the details listed above, the role is absolutely responsible for the day to operation of the property encompassing all aspects and management of the Front Office, maintenance and housekeeping departments.
Qualification & ExperienceTo be successful as Front Office Manager, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a Front Office Manager role
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management or similar discipline
- Knowledge of a management rights ownership environment preferred
- Have a passion for creating exceptional experiences for guests
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Have a genuine passion for bringing out the best and building the capabilities of the team, enjoy being guest facing and taking the guest experience to the next level
