Quest Tamworth is a 40 room property located within walking distance of Tamworth's CBD. We are on the lookout for a new Front Office Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis working 4-5 shifts a week.
The Role
Involves all aspects of Front Office reception, including providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, processing reservations ensuring full and accurate data is captured, assisting corporate and leisure guests (eg. explaining where local restaurants are, gym access), answering phones to both in-house guests and external calls, attending to room booking requests and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk.
The Ideal Candidate
Will demonstrate a passion for customer service ensuring a positive experience for all guests, strong skills in selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication and time management skills, experience with Front Office booking systems, eye for detail and high standards of personal presentation. Must have confidence to action situations as per policy and procedure.
Previous Front Office reception experience in a hospitality, travel or tourism environment would be highly regarded as would other types of customer facing roles, eg. retail.
The successful applicant must be available to work a variety of shifts Monday to Friday and weekends and have entitlement to work in Australia. Morning shift start times would be from 7.00am and afternoon from 2.00pm.
