About you

We are currently seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join our team to work Full-Time. The successful applicant will

  • Have previous experience as a Guest Services Agent (Hotel Receptionist) 
  • Currently hold an RSA certificate
  • Have an exuberant personality and exceptional people skills
  • Be well presented, confident, articulate and extremely resourceful
  • Excel under pressure whilst paying attention to the finer details
  • Like to have fun at work
  • Must be flexible & available to work weekends
  • Previous Supervisory experience advantageous

About the role:

Tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Liaising with all departments on a daily basis and assisting where necessary
  • Be ‘hands on’ and assist with the completion of daily tasks for all Front Office staff if necessary
  • Manage the reception team throughout your shift - prioritise tasks and delegate duties efficiently and fairly.
  • Co-ordinate Receptionist meal breaks, start and finish times.
  • Ensure team members presentation is consistent with staff handbook; uniforms correctly presented and name badges worn at all times.
  • Where necessary, brief the reception team before commencement of shift, to ensure that any important details are handed over
  • Assist guests with general enquiries and directions and be able to answer all enquiries in a knowledgeable manner and Ensure guests’ special needs and requests are fulfilled or recorded and communicated to the relevant departments
  • Ensure staff presentation is consistent with Hotel staff handbook; uniforms correctly presented
