The award winning Sebel Melbourne Docklands is looking for a full-time Front OfficeTeam Leader to join us on a full time basis. Joining a small team of Front Office professionals, the front-Office Team Leader will need to have proven leadership, communication, customer service and organisational skills to join our Front Office Team and assist Front-Office Manager for the smooth operations of the hotel.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years experience with Accor background
- Opera PMS knowledge is Essential
- Great empathy and communication skills with a customer first mindset
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Ongoing and unrestricted working rights for Australia
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Available on Weekends and Public holidays
Important and essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- To monitor duties and responsibilities of Reception team and ensure that work processes are carried out systematically in a logical order;
- To ensure Reception operation has proper staffing at all times. Monitor staffing and scheduling;
- To ensure that policies and procedures are properly understood and followed through;
- To ensure that company’s philosophy, company culture and procedures are properly understood and followed through daily;
- To ensure that the Reception Training Manual is continuously updated, maintained and used effectively;
- To respond to changes as dictated by the industry, hotel and owning company;
- To ensure that the Reception team provides exceptional guest service in line with Company standards at all times to Hotel guests and internal customers as appropriate;
- To ensure group preparation and guest room allocation are done appropriately and accurately;
- To assist in greeting and checking- in all repeat guests and VIPs, or to ensure that they are met personally;
- To ensure that the Reception team is familiar with the hotel’s products and services;
- To personally and frequently verify that guests are receiving the best possible service during check-in and check-out; and etc.
