Job Summary
Tetra Pak has an opportunity for a mechanical (fitter/turner) apprentice to join the team. Tetra Pak is the world's leading food processing and packaging solutions company working closely with our customers and suppliers to provide safe food.
Both recommencing and new apprentice starters of all ages welcome to apply.
Working with qualified and skilled engineers you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support. Initially we will base you in the local area, but eventually this job will involve Australia wide travel alongside a qualified tradesperson.
Long term opportunities include overseas travel for training, company vehicle and competitive wages.
What you will do
- Regular travel, which is compensated, it is imperative that you are comfortable with this aspect of the job.
- Servicing customers Australia wide
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment
We believe you have
- Clean Car License essential
- Well presented.
- Comfortable obtaining a police check
- Willing to undergo a full medical
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Have a high level of attention to detail
