AddressLa Barrita is a full service restaurant and bar in Kingscliff, NSW with spacious indoor and outdoor seatings.
We are looking to hire a full time Chef in our restaurant.
Major duties include:
- Kitchen management – oversee and coordinate kitchen operations, managing inventory and maintaining a clean and organised workspace;
- Menu execution: prepare and cook a variety of dishes in adherence to our menu specifications;
- Quality control: Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Collaboration: Support our head chef, provide mentoring to junior chefs and cooks, foster a positive and efficient team environment;
- Innovation: Contribute to menu development, bringing creative ideas to enhance our culinary offering.
Requirement:
- Trade qualified with at least two years of relevant work experience (full time);
- Commitment to full time hours on roster;
- Strong culinary skillset and communication skills.
Successful candidate will be offered annual salary between $70000 to $80000 to commensurate with skills and experience.
