Full Time Permanent Position available at Western Sydney University Early Learning Hawkesbury (Service located in Richmond) immediate start.

Western Sydney University Early Learning Hawkesbury is situated on the grounds of the Western Sydney University Hawkesbury Campus located in Richmond NSW and operate with high staff /child ratios. We are looking to fill permanent full-time position for a Diploma in Early childhood. This position will comply with the conditions set out in the Western Sydney University Early Learning Limited Enterprise Agreement 2021-2023. Our enterprise agreement offers above award wages and conditions including access to study leave, parental leave and 15 days personal plus additional special leave days.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Diploma Trained Educator at WSUEL is expected to be an active member of the team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes ensuring the implementation of WSUELL policies and procedures at all times, developing strong and supportive relationships with families, educators and children and working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service operation.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrate a keen interest in developing a career in Early Childhood education and care
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (or willing to obtain).
- Working with children check clearance and number for verification and National Police Check
- Sound knowledge and working practice of National Quality Frameworks, Education and Care National Regulation and Law
- Knowledge of overall Health and Safety regarding Children's Services
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Be reliable, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or appropriate visa
