We are looking for a professional, energetic Junior Sous Chef to join our team of talented chefs. We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef who has a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering a high-level of service, and is enthusiastic about growing and cultivating a team. We are looking for:
- 2+ years' experience in a hatted venue or equivalent
- Learn new techniques and sections
- Experience in a busy and professional environment
- Good communication and attitude
- Organised with a love for well executed food
- Course completion of use hygienic practices for food safety and participate in safe food handling practices

Responsibilities
- Lead by example and motivate the kitchen team to maintain a consistent high performing work culture.
- Work in symbiosis with the Sous and Head Chef while taking on and respecting their knowledge and feedback.
- Help improve, manage and develop critical operational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
- Consistent and strong execution and quality control of every dish that leaves the pass.
- Keeping team aware and accountable for food hygiene and food safety standards.
- Reviewing daily stock orders and ensuring that there is no incorrect or missing product.
- Maintain consistent ordering of all goods per par levels and budgets set out.
- Support the Sous Chef in updating processes and procedures where they can encourage the growth,efficiency and spirit of the restaurant.
