Our thriving bakery located in Yarraville is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. Our bakery is known for its delicious baked goods, from homemade pastries to artisan breads and custom cakes, all with a sprinkle of Sweden! As a Pastry Chef you will be playing a huge role in our company by ensuring our high quality standards are met.
The role is monday to friday, starting time 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare a variety of viennoiserie pastry such as croissants, danish and pain au choc and the like
• Follow recipes and baking techniques to produce high-quality baked goods
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Measure and mix ingredients, using equipment such as mixers, dividers and ovens
• Ensure that all baked goods meet quality standards
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and make adjustments as needed
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Passion for baking and creating delicious baked goods
Training will also be provided.
We offer above award rates, Full Time position, mon to fri, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm!
