Wilson Security is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team of Security Officers/Control Room Operators for an elite complex located in Docklands. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a flexible team player that can multi-task and contribute to the overall team success.
The position function includes:
· Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras
· Access control management - ensuring site compliance is always adhered to.
· Monitoring of Alarms, including Fire panel operations (isolating/de-isolating)
· Assisting with Emergency situations
· Internal & External Patrols
· High level of Customer service
Role requirements:
· Immaculate presentation
· Australian Citizen / Permanent resident
· Victorian Security License
· Control room licence (or willing to apply for it with RPL) - Experience will be highly regarded (preference will be given to licensed candidates)
· Current First Aid qualification including a current CPR.
· Computer literate in MS Office and associated programs
· Strong Leadership & conflict resolution skills
· Ability to coach, mentor & train team members
· Excellent verbal / written communication skills including responding to emails
· Confidence to act as Chief or Deputy Fire Warden (training will be provided)
· Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time
· 24hr flexibility to work a rotating roster - 12 hr shifts
