Full time Security Officer/Control room operator – Reliever - VIC

Wilson Security is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team of Security Officers/Control Room Operators for an elite complex located in Docklands. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a flexible team player that can multi-task and contribute to the overall team success.

The position function includes:
 

• Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras
• Access control management – ensuring site compliance is always adhered to.
• Monitoring of Alarms, including Fire panel operations (isolating/de-isolating)
• Assisting with Emergency situations
• Internal & External Patrols
• High level of Customer service  

Role requirements:
 

• Immaculate presentation
• Australian Citizen / Permanent resident
• Victorian Security License
• Control room licence (or willing to apply for it with RPL) – Experience will be highly regarded (preference will be given to licensed candidates)
• Current First Aid qualification including a current CPR.
• Computer literate in MS Office and associated programs
• Strong Leadership & conflict resolution skills
• Ability to coach, mentor & train team members
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills including responding to emails
• Confidence to act as Chief or Deputy Fire Warden (training will be provided)
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time
• 24hr flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12 hr shifts
