SalarySt Francis Winery Resort is a 41-suite property, The Resort is situated on 5 acres overlooking Lake Carew Reynell and built around the circa 1852 winery building. This historic building is now widely used as a conference venue for corporate business from all around Australia and as one of South Australia's premier wedding venues.
The Venue offers 3.5 star accommodation, 32 gaming machines, heated indoor swimming pool, conference, convention, wedding facilities, and 40 seated Walters bistro.
We are looking for an experienced Functions & Events Manager with at least 2 years of experience to join our team! .The successful applicant will join a hard-working, fun-loving, vibrant team of dynamic hospitality professionals.

The Role Responsibilities
- Providing a strong leadership for the team
- KPIs & Budgets
- Great understanding Work place safety practices
- Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times
- Compliance with statuary regulations
- An understanding to control operational costs not limited to wages and cost of goods
- Passion for the hospitality industry across all areas including food and beverage
- Hold Current RSG / Advanced Gaming / RSA Including RP
- Strong knowledge of beer / Wine / Cocktails
- Function background preferred min 2 years in similar role
Requirements
- Comfortable analyzing financial data and working within budget expectations
- Strong computing skills and communication skills
- Previous experience running and setting up functions and events in venue.
- Planning and organising special events and activations.
