About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Restaurant & Functions Manager to lead and develop our team and delight our guests with exceptional dining and functions experiences. 

You will be involved in all aspects of managing the Restaurant – driving growth, planning, staff development, cost & event management.

We expect you to lead by example, motivate the team to achieve great results, have a passion for food and wine, strong people skills and proven experience in a similar role. 

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Having a friendly, innovative / can-do attitude to provide diners with a memorable experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and develop a small team in conjunction with the Head Chef
• Generating ideas to drive growth and profitability in the business
• Proactively managing enquiries for functions, event and group bookings
• Experience in larger format offerings essential [weddings, events and functions]
• Effective rostering and cost management

Skills and experience   

• A minimum of 2-5 years in a similar role
• A formal qualification in Hospitality Management and excellent wine knowledge will be highly regarded
• The ability to communicate clearly with others in the venue
• A calm and professional personality with a committed and passionate attitude to work
• Experience in larger format offerings essential [weddings, events and functions]
• You will possess good communication skills and become a key member of the business, working closely with the Head Chef
