About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Restaurant & Functions Manager to lead and develop our team and delight our guests with exceptional dining and functions experiences.
You will be involved in all aspects of managing the Restaurant – driving growth, planning, staff development, cost & event management.
We expect you to lead by example, motivate the team to achieve great results, have a passion for food and wine, strong people skills and proven experience in a similar role.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Having a friendly, innovative / can-do attitude to provide diners with a memorable experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and develop a small team in conjunction with the Head Chef
- Generating ideas to drive growth and profitability in the business
- Proactively managing enquiries for functions, event and group bookings
- Experience in larger format offerings essential [weddings, events and functions]
- Effective rostering and cost management

Skills and experience
- A minimum of 2-5 years in a similar role
- A formal qualification in Hospitality Management and excellent wine knowledge will be highly regarded
- The ability to communicate clearly with others in the venue
- A calm and professional personality with a committed and passionate attitude to work
- Experience in larger format offerings essential [weddings, events and functions]
- You will possess good communication skills and become a key member of the business, working closely with the Head Chef
