Function and Office Assistant
The Last Local Canning Vale is an Iconic local Venue. We have an energetic team driven to continue the tradition of warm hospitality and excellent food.
This role will be a rewarding one, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From their first point of contact, you will guide guests through our offerings and ensure seamless execution. You will work closely with the management team of The Last Local.
About you:
- Exceptional communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
- Passion for customer service.
- An eye for detail, particularly in administration and set up.
- Function and event experience or related.
- Creativity to suggest the extras that make our functions stand out.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Phone etiquette and answer emails.
About the role:
- First point of contact for booking and function enquiries.
- Listen to the guest's needs and wants, explain offerings to suit.
- Communicate with the team, provide clear run sheets and timings.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team on catering requirements and costings.
- Process deposits and ensure timely payment and clearly set out terms and conditions.
- Set up and work functions as necessary and/or guide the team on service delivery.
- Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and potential future bookings.
