Functions Coordinator - 9 Month Parental Leave position
As Functions Coordinator you will responsible for delivering memorable experiences at Rich River Golf Club ranging from weddings to conferences.
You will serve as the primary contact for selling and delivering Club functions. This includes managing initial bookings, arranging room setups, and ensuring accurate and consistent communication of event details to all departments while developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. There is the potential for a permanent full-time position after the initial 9 Months.
Key Selection Criteria:
- High level of personal presentation and professionalism, with the ability to promote teamwork and a positive workplace culture.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills with a customer-centered approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centered approach and the ability to resolve disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Previous experience in the hospitality environment with a strong function and event background.
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills with experience in Microsoft Suite.
- Availability to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. You will be required to work approximately one weekend a month on a casual basis in support of the Functions Manager.
