Club Sunbury is looking for a Functions and Events Co-ordinator to join our growing team.
Club Sunbury is a thriving community Club with Bistro, Bar, Gaming, Kiosk, Function Room and Bowling Greens. We pride ourselves on excellent service across all areas and won Bowls Australia Club of the Year in 2021. We are looking for a passionate driven individual with a flair for hospitality to oversee our functions and events department. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can build relationships with clients and is committed to sourcing new clientele and growing our business.
Successful candidate will have:
- Energetic, outgoing, and service orientated personality
- Demonstrated passion and flare for the hospitality industry
- Well spoken and excellent communication & writing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Experience in a faced paced environment & ability to work a rotating roster with some weekend work
- Experience with staff management and rostering
- Must be able to network effectively, open leads & close sales.
- Exceptional time management skills
- Attention to detail, be organised and tech savvy
- Current RSA.
