About the role
An opportunity has become available for an efficient and dedicated Functions & Events Coordinator with strong food, beverage & corporate experience to help deliver a superior functions and event experience at The Yarraville Club.
As a function coordinator at Yarraville Club you will work closely with The operations manager and Head Chef to ensure seamless delivery of functions and events from start to finish. The role will be broken up to administration tasks, customer meetings, staff meetings and hands on delivery of functions and events with some nights and weekends required.
As well as handling all incoming enquiries you work closely with our marketing team to create new Yarraville Club events as well as bring in new external functions and events. With many returning clients and customers you will have the opportunity to build relationships with key industry contacts.
The Ideal Candidates skills:
- Previous use of iivy functions management system highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills and fantastic personal presentation
- A fantastic administrator who provides detailed functions and events paperwork to ensure our chefs and operations team can deliver to the clients needs. Detail and presentation is the key to success in this role.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Strong bar and food delivery experience
- Experience managing large functions and associated administration
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- An understanding of liquor licensing regulations
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft programs / IT skills
