Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Function and Events Manager role located in Brookwater, QLD. The Function and Events Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating events and functions, targeting weddings, corporate food and beverage bookings, medium and large functions, working with the F&B Team at Brookwater Golf & Country Club to ensure they are executed to a high standard and meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in a similar role managing functions and events
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by the functions and events schedule
- Degree or Diploma in hospitality, events management, or a related field is preferred but not required
