Fundraising Lead
An exciting opportunity exists to join a national not-for-profit organisation in a newly created role as Fundraising Lead. We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to lead, develop and implement ADF's philanthropic strategy in addition to building strong relationships with key trusts and foundations and supporters that align with ADF's Mission and Values.

- Level 5 starting at FTE$114,036 base plus super and generous salary packaging options available

The Fundraising Lead will steer the development and implementation of a strategic approach to Trusts and Foundations that increases and diversifies revenue for the ADF. Specifically, this role will be responsible for developing and executing our income generation and partnerships strategy, identifying key stakeholders and working with other ADF staff to build strong relationships to drive long-term sustainability. This role reports to the Head of Marketing & Communications working closely with our CEO, State Managers and Executive team.
About you
You will possess and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing areas
- Excellent strategy development and income generation skills (trusts and foundations, philanthropic partners, major gifts etc.).
- Thorough understanding of the principles of fundraising relating to trusts and foundations.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to liaise with funders and key internal stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of fundraising legislation, practices, and philosophy of charitable giving.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering successful client/donor relationship outcomes with highly reputed philanthropic trusts and foundations
- Ability to develop compelling proposals
- Proven ability to build and foster long term strategic relationships that lead to revenue growth
- Understanding of CRM database management and data driven marketing best practice
- Solid project management skills and the ability to multi task.
