As a Garment Technician, you play a pivotal role within our design team, collaborating closely with designers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to actualise creative visions into stunning fashion pieces. Our client is an innovative retail business who are experiencing exponential growth. They are known for setting global trends and redefining the future of online shopping. We're seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead their dynamic team in a high-volume and fast-paced warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, detail-orientated, and dexterous individual who will support the technical design team overseeing fit sessions, grading, and quality control throughout development across a wide range of categories.
What you'll be doing:
- Create, communicate and maintain detailed technical specifications for each garment
- Specifications include technical drawings, measurements, product construction details, mockups, materials, trims, washing techniques and finishes
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that garments meet the required standards
- Ensure that the garments meet all necessary legal and ethical guidelines
- Up to 3 years of experience in a similar technical design role
- Strongly skill set in developing high-quality specs, tech packs, and grading sheets
- Sound knowledge of fabrics, trims, and materials as well as garment construction and patterns
- Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with offshore suppliers
