The Strategic Workforce Planning Section (SWP) provides centralised workforce planning and recruitment support to business areas within the Technology and Major Capability Group (TMCG). Our ideal candidate
As an APS4 Administration Support officer you will undertake a broad range of administrative duties in support of the SWP Section. If you are highly organised, have the ability to multitask, have a strong focus on client service and a can-do attitude we would like to speak with you.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide efficient support to all staff through administrative tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Undertaking a broad range of administrative duties such as mailbox management, coordinate and schedule meetings, room bookings and calendar invitations and assist in drafting and maintaining documents, procedures and templates
- Provide high quality and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders using a variety of communication methods
- Work as part of a team, and under the direction of a supervisor, contributing to team outcomes
- Solution focused approach and demonstrated initiative, innovation and agility when faced with challenges
- Adhere to records management policy and processes including maintaining data and spreadsheets, and personal information
- The ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive and personal information.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organisations skills
- Able to apply sound judgement and analyse, interpret and disseminate information
- High level attention to detail
- Able to work on multiple activities under pressure.
Highly Desirable:
- Prior experience in Human Resources Management

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
