A privately owned international company in the In Vitro Diagnostics industry has an opportunity for a dynamic General Manager to lead our Australian and New Zealand team in an exciting phase of development.
The company is dedicated to improve personalised patient care through powerful biotechnology solutions for blood-based diagnostics.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven performance in similar leadership roles. An ability to influence, negotiate and represent an organisation will be essential, along with strong leadership skills and a commitment to governance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Board and European headquarters to define and articulate the organization’s vision and develop strategies and business plans
- Develop and monitor strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization ; Challenge the Management team to reach and exceed targets
- Define and monitor annual operating plans and correlated budgets (investments, headcounts,..) that support strategic direction
- Lead profitable revenue growth
- Develop a deep understanding of account needs, identify new business opportunities, stakeholders and competitive situation in the market ; share this information with Headquarters in order to appraise continuously strategy relevance
- Develop the company image on markets (customers, key opinions leaders, scientific organisation…)
- Oversee the operations of organization and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, train and develop teams' competencies in order to align Human Resources on strategy

Qualifications & Experience required:
- Master’s in sciences plus a qualification in business/marketing (a must)
- 5-7 years of experience of management at this level of responsibilities
- Experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic or medical device sector (international & Australian experience)
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
- French speaking (desirable)
