The role:
Using your management skills and experience you will beresponsible for effectively leading and managing all areas of theresidential community including clinical, wellbeing and lifestyle.You will be responsible for ensuring operational targets and caredeliverable across clinical, financial, compliance, residentservice, resident lifestyle & wellbeing, and workplace cultureare achieved.
You will foster a commitment to Warrigal’s culture andlead in our purpose “We support older people to createinspiring communities”.
To be successful you will need:
- University Degree in Business, Hospitality, Health, SocialScience or Nursing
- Demonstrated leadership, operational and management of ahigh functioning team that embraces innovation
- Extensive management experience at a senior level includingresponsibility for managing, developing and mentor staff at alllevels of the business
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinaryteams
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management, qualityimprovement, customer service principles and staff educationprinciples
- Demonstrated experience in quality management,accreditation and systems compliance, preferably in aleadership role
Highly desirable:
- Ability to embrace and facilitate resident lifestyle andwellbeing initiatives the others envy
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written), andinterpersonal skills including facilitation of sensitiveconversations with staff, residents and family members.
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring appropriate systems andprocesses are in place to assess residents and maximiserevenue, including government funding arrangements
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to residentdirected care
