The GET Business Line is internally called CR Mining and we are on a mission to revolutionize mining productivity, deliver exceptional customer experience and create market leading ESG outcomes.
We engineer advanced digging and loading solutions for all mining excavating machines to enhance safety, reduce carbon intensity, provide real-time operating data solutions, unlock productivity performance, and improve maintainability requirements. We are a trusted supply partner within the global mining community delivering highly innovative, cutting edge and socially responsible products and technology solutions.
With a track record of innovation and customer excellence for over 40 years, CR Mining is currently undertaking strategic & significant growth; employing 450 people located primarily in offices and plants in Australia, China and North & South America. Specifically, 80 % CR Mining's revenue comes from its market leading and patent protected ground engaging tools (GET) range, with its inherently attractive recurring razor / razorblade economics.
The growing CR Digital business provides an attractive suite of complementary high-performance digital technology solutions across drilling and load / haul optimization, GET loss detection, and integrated data analytics. In February 2023, CR Mining was acquired by Epiroc and is part of the TLD Division. Integration is well advanced and plans to advance the LHD GET and Digital synergies are well advanced. CR Mining has a suite of opportunities and with the combination of Epiroc and CR Mining, the key is to fully leverage the synergies to maximise profitable growth.
The Role
We are now looking for a person to lead the CR Mining business in the role of General Manager, Digital - GET to continue the exciting set of growth and extension opportunities ahead.
In this role, we expect you to value our diversity, enhance our performance culture and build upon the growth mindset of the business.
The purpose of the role is to lead and significantly grow the Digital Business with a clear agenda of market penetration for the TITAN, GET Trakka and Thunderbird technology suite and developing new product solutions for the global mining market. This role is a significant leadership role, in the fast-paced technology/automation space, and is expected to strongly contribute to the development and implementation of Business Strategy for the Digital Business.
Business Leadership
Actively lead, assign and review the key priorities for the global digital team; across markets and channels, software and hardware.
Encourage and facilitate broad consultation and collaboration across the internal business and with external providers/researchers to actively position the business for long term success.
Work in collaboration with Epiroc Digital companies to understand synergies and best practice, including future M&A targets.
Provide and grow the performance of the Sales and Business Development functions and work collaboratively with the Australasian and Americas businesses to provide leads and contacts. This includes effective alignment between the BDM's and Field Support roles to create market leading service and support levels.
Provide effective oversight of the hardware and software developments to constantly evolve and improve the product offering in terms of size, cost, performance, and support.
Lead the Digital brand, Marketing and Communication thinking and proactively work with CR's Central function to maximise the business exposure through our website, trade shows and product support/service.
Well-developed commercial skills to focus on long term value creation with the ability to positively influence business decisions to drive change with key stakeholders.
Lead P&L and collaborate effectively with manufacturing, supply chain, product development and management, human resources and finance functions.

High-quality application of the critical HR systems including role descriptions, performance feedback, succession planning and development processes, salary review and goal setting.
Provide active support for the implementation of the Code of Conduct, DOA and Company Policies.
Driven and ambitious, resilient, with positive enthusiasm and a pragmatic approach.
Actively support all Supply Chain initiatives including the functioning of an efficient and effective S&OP process.
Actively support the Product Development & Engineering processes to ensure market leading products and services are introduced into the global market.
Work closely with the Australasia & Africa and Americas & Europe businesses to identify potential synergies and sales opportunities through collaboration and pertinent information sharing.
To succeed in the role, we believe it is important that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be highly regarded.
Ideally, you will have a university degree within engineering or business, with further studies in management.
The position is ideally located in Brisbane, Australia and will require extensive domestic and international travel.
