General Manager - Marketing

Kidman & Co, established in 1899, has recently become the custodian of these brands and aims to expand the product offering and grow recognition for its authentic heritage and pioneering spirit around the world.

We are inviting applications for the General Manager Marketing position based in Melbourne. This is a hands-on role for someone with a deep appreciation for our target audience and the real world purpose of our existing and future range of products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Kidman Apparel, Driza-bone and Rossi Boots.
• Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency and resonance with the target audience.
• Drive digital marketing initiatives, including social media, e-commerce, and online advertising.
• Manage product launches, promotions, and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are integrated into overall business plans.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Establish and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and industry partners.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the fashion, outdoor apparel, or footwear industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful marketing teams.
• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand development and marketing trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media strategies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with the Australian and international retail markets.
