About the role
As the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the Board, Operations team, and dedicated volunteers, bringing leadership that drives real impact. You'll spearhead operational improvements, collaborate closely with external partners and donors, and have a unique opportunity to shape and enhance the organisation's technology capabilities. This role isn't just about managing-it's about innovating and making a lasting difference, building on our mission.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects to ensure seamless delivery.
- Strategy Implementation: Drive organizational strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
- Marketing and Partnerships: Lead the delivery of our marketing strategy and foster partnerships.
- Administrative/Financial Oversight: Ensure efficient management within designated delegations.
Skills and experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business or other equivalent field
- Previous leadership experience essential; volunteer management highly regarded.
- Proven project/change management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
- Valid Open Driver's Licence.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and implementation of relevant procedures.
