With a newly appointed CEO who has considerable depth of digital experience in the retail sector, we are building out our senior executive leadership team, who collectively will lead our teams to deliver on our ambitious growth plans. This role joins our executive working collaboratively with our senior Finance, People, Marketing, and Operations leaders, as we scale for our next chapter of expansion.
The Opportunity
Reporting to our CEO, we have an incredible opportunity for the General Manager of Sales to lead our national sales and business development teams to grow market share and deliver performance for DIYblinds and our recently established HomePro brand across our consumer and B2B channels nationally.
- Translate our Strategy into strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Lead, coach and build capability through our sales teams – be a trusted leader who fosters an inclusive and supportive culture that is aligned with our values
- Identify new business opportunities and organize the team to pursue further growth
- Be instrumental in the roll out of our new CRM technology and other platforms internally that will bring significant efficiencies and benefit to the customer experience
- Collaborate cross functionally, ensuring a cohesive, one team approach
About You
- You are a strategic sales leader, with demonstrated success in the senior leadership of teams
- A proven track record in developing and executing successful B2C and B2B sales strategies
- High levels of commercial acumen and experience with P&L ownership
- A thirst for building a high performing team, and leading others through exciting change programs
- Proficiency in utilising CRM tools to enhance sales performance and customer relationship management
- You are comfortable flexing between strategic contribution and operational delivery – this is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring comfort in working at pace
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a capacity to engage with a wide-range of stakeholders from customers to internal teams, to our Board
