About The Role
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our commercial cleaning and landscaping maintenance business. The GM will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the director to drive business growth, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business operations, including managing staff, setting and achieving business goals, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all cleaning and landscaping services are delivered on time and to client satisfaction
- Maintain and build relationships with clients to ensure ongoing business and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in business operations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans and strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the commercial cleaning or landscaping industry
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business goals
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software
